Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to support students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. The position requires Illinois PT licensure and at least two years of pediatric experience; knowledge of public school settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist preferred.
• Current Illinois license in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' functional capabilities to plan interventions.
• Assess gross motor and development skills to identify deficits.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff to solve problems.
• Consult with IEP team to determine treatments and services.
• Develop treatment plans from the IEP to remediate motor deficits.
• Facilitate meetings to meet curriculum guidelines.
• Identify barriers and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Instruct students and staff on medical attributes and use of equipment.
• Prepare written materials documenting activities.
• Provide services at multiple work sites.
