Job summary

WVU Medicine’s Golisano Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Children's Pre/Post unit on weekends. You’ll deliver professional pediatric nursing care in the perioperative setting, applying evidence-based practice and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or multi-state via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess and plan care for pediatric patients in pre/postoperative settings.
• Coordinate with interprofessional team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a pediatric perioperative environment.
