Job summary

Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Explorer unit, a fast-paced 35-bed post-surgical unit with additional EMU capacity. You will coordinate patient care, perform assessments, and implement nursing interventions under the Nursing Practice Act guidelines.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, RN license, and BLS/PEARS certifications. Night shift, 86.25% FTE, and 34.5 scheduled weekly hours with compensation range $46.25–$61.43 hourly, dependent on skills

Qualifications

• Registration as a registered nurse (RN) in good standing and license post-acquisition.
• BLS and PEARS certifications required within stated timelines.
• Accredited nursing program completion is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care and coordinate patient care plans.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet patient outcomes.
