LE01 Valley Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide proficient nursing care for complex patients in the perioperative department. The RN will coordinate patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a CA-BRN license, and be BLS & PALS certified within specified timelines.

The position offers a compensation range of $47.70 - $73.80 per hour for night shifts, with a full-time equivalent of 86.25% and a scheduled weekly hours of 34.5.

Formación

• Nursing experience correlating with the Clinical Advancement Program.
• Registered Nurse License – CA-BRN is required.
• BLS and PALS certification needed.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing proficient nursing care of complex patients and serving as a resource. The RN is responsible for coordinating the patient’s plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children’s Hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Education
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program (required).
  • College degree in Nursing (4 years, preferred).
• Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse License – CA-BRN (required).
  • BLS – Basic Life Support – AHA (required within 30 days of hire).
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support – AHA (required within 12 months of hire).
• Experience
  • Experience correlating with the Clinical Advancement Program (required).
• Skills & Abilities
  • Bilingual skills preferred.

Compensation & Shift

• Compensation Range: $47.70 - $73.80 per hour.
• Work Shift: Night (United States of America).
• Position Exempt: No.
• FTE: 86.25%.
