The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing proficient nursing care of complex patients and serving as a resource. The RN is responsible for coordinating the patient’s plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children’s Hospital policies.
