Valley Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Explorer unit, a 35-bed pediatric post-surgical unit that cares for orthopedics, general surgery, cardiac and neurology patients. The RN ensures timely assessments and coordinates the plan of care for diverse pediatric cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in California (BRN) required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PEARS certification within 12 months.
• Experience aligned with the Clinical Advancement Program.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide competent nursing care and coordinate the patient's plan of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Work under the direction of the nurse executive and Valley Children's policies.
