Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital seeks a House Supervisor to provide 24x7 administrative supervision of patient care and hospital operations. The role acts as an on-site leader, coordinating departments, staffing and resource management during off shifts and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 2–5 years of nursing leadership, and a BSN preferred with 5–10 years of leadership experience. Part-time benefit eligibility and weekend/night rotations are included.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• 2–5 years of nursing leadership experience required.
• BSN preferred; 5–10 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 administrative supervision of patient care and hospital departments.
• Serve as on-site leader and liaison with Administration during off shifts.
• Hire, train, assign work, and evaluate staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee patient placement, unit staffing, and complaint resolution across the organization.
• Support budgeting efforts and adherence to departmental goals.
