Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and patient safety standards at Summerlin Hospital in Nevada. You will deliver patient-centered care, lead and support the healthcare team, and uphold our service excellence standards.

Must have Nevada RN licensure; BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Experience: One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in the state of Nevada. Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification may be required by facility, specialty, or department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
