Job summary

The Valley Health System invites applications for a bedside RN position at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas. Provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and patient-centered care principles.

Lead and support the healthcare team, supervise staff under your supervision, and uphold Service Excellence standards while ensuring high-quality outcomes across acute care settings. Education: Accredited nursing program; RN license in Nevada; BLS; PALS/NRP as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience: One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification, Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other certification may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
