Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This role provides safe, competent nursing care and professional leadership to the healthcare team within a busy hospital setting.

The RN will supervise staff, uphold patient-centered care, and adhere to hospital policies and service excellence standards. Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required are essential, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire; BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada with required certifications (BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as department requires).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
