Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care in a Houston-area clinic. The RN provides nursing care under supervision, applying clinical knowledge to ensure safety and comfort for patients and families.

Responsibilities include documenting, scheduling, referrals, testing, medication administration, and patient education. Texas RN license and BLS required; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license and BLS through American Heart Association.
• CPR certification and willingness to participate in emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Review doctors' schedules, prepare and submit patient documents.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and advocate for patients.
• Administer medications following the 7 rights and monitor patient responses.
• Communicate with physicians regarding care and document in the medical record.
• Assist with referrals, radiology testing, and patient education.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe care environment.
