Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a pediatric unit. You will perform the nursing process within a safe, patient-family-centered framework and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications include RN licensure (GA or multi-state), BLS within 30 days, and PALS within 1 year as required. BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program is expected.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active Georgia or multi-state license required/preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• PALS certification within 1 year of employment as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes.
• Documents care and plans using standard tools and systems.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to identified learning needs.
• Ensures safe, evidence-based nursing care with clinical judgment and accountability.
