Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Regular RN to provide direct patient care and participate in an interdisciplinary care team. The shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in our Georgia facility.

Requirements include 12 months of RN experience, Graduation from an accredited nursing program, GA or multi-state RN licensure, and BLS; PALS/PEARS within 1 year. The department focuses on patient-family-centered care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 12 months RN experience required.
• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure as RN in GA or Multi-State via eNLC/EC.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association within 30 days of employment or start of shift if ED.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process across continuum to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
• Integrates values and language preferences into healthcare delivery.
• Uses clinical decision support tools to recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify the plan as needed.
• Documents healthcare data using appropriate tools.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to learning needs.
• Delivers nursing care safely, effectively, and within financial considerations.
