Seattle Children's is seeking a registered nurse to join our pediatric health care team. You will provide safe, family-centered patient care and use the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with families and the health care team.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program and a WA State RN license with BLS certification. PEARS or PALS may substitute for BLS in some areas; PEARS must be obtained within six months in specified units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Care Process with patients and families.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, family-centered care.
• Provide supervision and delegation of tasks to Nurse Technicians, LPNs, CNAs and other staff as defined by policy.
• Support initiatives such as CPI, Value Based Behaviors, and Patient Safety.
