Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide direct, age-appropriate patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and Georgia RN licensure, with BLS and PALS/PEARS certifications as appropriate by department.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and collaboration across shifts to ensure safe patient flow and optimal outcomes for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or multi-state via the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment or start of clinical shift if in ED.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or PEARS certification from the American Heart Association within 1 year of employment as required by department.

Responsabilités

• Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
• Integrates values and language preferences into care and documents data using appropriate tools.
• Provides patient and family education and coordinates nursing care that is safe, effective, and financially responsible.
