Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN position in Atlanta, delivering direct patient care within a safe, evidence‑based care environment as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role follows the nursing process to promote quality outcomes. Requirements include GA RN licensure with BLS, PALS/PEARS per department, 12 months RN experience, and preferred BSN; shifts are day, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and maintains effective interaction with medical staff and others to drive care coordination.
• Communicates with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate care coordination for specialty.
• Coordinates with home health agencies, third‑party payors, and other community resources as needed.
• Facilitates and provides ongoing communication with patient/family and staff to identify and resolve barriers.
• Facilitates clinical practice guidelines at the patient level.
• Performs outpatient and clinic care coordination and monitors patient care between clinic and home.
• Provides telehealth to assist with patient needs and concerns.
