Job summary
Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the health care team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote safety and quality care, using the nursing process and state practice guidelines.
Strong communication and teamwork are essential. You will assess patients, develop and implement plans, perform diverse interventions, document meticulously, and educate patients and families, ensuring compassionate, relationship-based care
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; RN license in Utah.
- Ability to adhere to Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Experience in patient care and documentation using EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and plan care with the team.
- Develop and implement patient care plans and monitor outcomes.
- Perform IVs, wound care, meds administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate charts and use IT to support decision-making.
- Advocate for patient safety and rights; provide patient/family education.
