Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Davis is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative healthcare team. You will promote safety, document care, and engage patients and families in the healing process.

Relocation assistance of up to $8,000 is offered for eligible new hires. The role focuses on applying nursing processes, adhering to standards and state regulations while supporting our mission-driven environment in northern Utah.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; document and communicate with care team.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes.
• Competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect health and safety and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education; assess learning readiness and teaching effectiveness.
