Care Options for Kids in Tallahassee is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and supervise home health services, partnering with the Director of Clinical Services. You will lead nurses and aides, review medical records, and ensure high-quality pediatric care while coordinating with the medical community and EMR systems.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS, 2+ years in public health nursing, and experience with home health or pediatrics.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license in good standing.
• 2+ years of combined public health nursing experience or 3+ years with progressive responsibilities.
• 1+ years of home health care or equivalent experience.
• Current and active BLS certification.
• Knowledge of pediatric care and related devices (g-tube, vent, tra ch).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR usage; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily supervision of nurses and home health aides to ensure care quality.
• Review clinical data, diagnoses, medical history, medications and statuses from client records.
• Appraise staff performance and provide coaching to enhance service delivery and professional development.
• Identify client needs and assess appropriateness of home care from intake forms.
• Orient new clinical staff to policies and procedures.
• Conduct in-home supervision visits and client visits; handle on-call after hours as needed.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and train peers on EMR and workflows.
• Prepare training materials and supervise classroom training on nursing best practices.
