Job summary

Affirmer Home Care is seeking a compassionate RN to deliver 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a medically complex 2-year-old in East Rutherford, NJ. You will manage tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and G-tube feedings, with ongoing respiratory monitoring in a home setting.

Requirements: NJ RN license, current BLS, and experience with trach/vent/G-tube care. Shifts include day, evening and overnight with long-term case stability; flexible scheduling and driver’s license preferred.

Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a medically complex 2-year-old patient who relies on skilled nursing support.

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for a pediatric patient in East Rutherford, NJ requiring tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and G-tube feedings.

Available Shifts

Coverage Needed:

• Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
• Weekday and weekend opportunities
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Consistent long-term case

About the Case

• 2-year-old medically complex pediatric patient
• Trach and ventilator dependent
• G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
• Requires ongoing respiratory monitoring and airway management
• Private duty 1:1 nursing care in the home setting

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator support
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered
• Administer and monitor G-tube feedings
• Assess respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the family and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care

Pay Rate

RN: Up to $45/hr

What You Bring

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Experience with trach, ventilator, and G-tube care preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
