Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required.
• Licensure/certification as RT (CRT) to be obtained within 45 days.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ACCS, NRP, NBRC credentials to be obtained per policy.
• Experience not required; orientation provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care per standards.
• Operate ventilators in neonatal/pediatric settings and assist physicians.
• Administer therapies per order and patient protocols.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and self-care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety; collaborate with departments.
