Ochsner Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide RT-CRT, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to patients from neonatal to geriatric. You will perform arterial blood gas analysis, monitor ventilation, and document clinical information according to policy.

Required Associate's Degree with state license as Respiratory Therapist, NBRC RRT, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days of hire. The role requires flexible schedule and strong communication and teamwork.

Formación

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license in state of practice.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and monitor ventilation.
• Provide age-appropriate care across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Adapt approach to individual patient population and privacy requirements.
