Job summary

Respire Homecare is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Supervisor to lead our pediatric program, coordinating discharge planning, setup, and ongoing care to ensure safe transitions home. You will coach clinicians, manage workload, and ensure caregiver education with empathy.

You will partner with hospital case managers, families, Patient Navigation, and the pediatric team to deliver coordinated, high-quality pediatric home care across departments.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Respiratory Therapist license in the practice state.
• Pediatric or neonatal specialty certification preferred.
• At least three years of respiratory therapy experience, including pediatric/medically complex patients.
• Demonstrated leadership as supervisor or educator; people-management preferred.
• Experience with home care or HME/DME and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day pediatric respiratory clinical operations and coverage.
• Coach and develop the pediatric respiratory team; onboarding, training, and competency validation.
• Maintain safe coverage with scheduling, visits, setups, and escalation planning.
• Guide transition from hospital to home with caregivers and care team.
• Provide hands-on clinical support during complex setups and follow-ups.
• Strengthen caregiver readiness through structured education and return demonstrations.
• Coordinate with Patient Navigation, referrals, and other teams for continuity of care.
• Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and communication.
