Job summary

Valley Children's Healthcare seeks a respiratory care professional to independently manage the respiratory needs of complex pediatric patients in the home setting. You will use pathophysiology knowledge and collaborate across disciplines to develop an interdisciplinary, family-centered plan of care, including the use of medical instrumentation.

You will implement the plan, assess education needs for at-home care, and coordinate after-hours care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates basic mathematical calculation skills and understanding of age/cultural principles.
• Bilingual Skills Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and revise an interdisciplinary family-centered plan of care for home respiratory management.
• Implement the plan of care and evaluate education needs related to at-home respiratory care.
• Coordinate after-hours care and participate in the On Call schedule.
• Ensure safe and effective respiratory care for complex pediatric patients at home.
