Job summary

Shriners Children's is seeking a Rehab Aide II to support the Physical and Occupational Therapy teams in delivering pediatric rehabilitation services. The role includes direct patient support, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks under licensed therapist supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean treatment area, following infection control policies, organizing supplies, and assisting with environmental duties across hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with peers, patients, families, and others to benefit our customers, department and hospital.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients and follows infection control policies.
• Conducts environmental inspections.
• Completes work orders for Plant Services.
• Organizes and maintains tools and supplies.
• Maintains inventory of shoe crepe, saw blades, sanding belts.
• Checks, adjusts and replaces belts or blades on shoe machine and band saw.
• Empties vacuum bag on shoe machine as needed.
• Cleans and organizes.
• Keeps supplies and tools out of reach of children.
• Maintains supplies on cast cart and in room.
