Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a Rehab Therapy Aide to support licensed therapists by transporting patients, preparing treatment areas, and assisting in intervention sessions. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment and assist with clerical tasks as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and CPR certification; prior rehab aide or healthcare experience is preferred, especially in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Prior Rehab Therapy Aide or Healthcare experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a fast paced work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport & Safety: Assists in safely transporting patients under supervision.
• Intervention Sessions: Assists with group and individual patient treatment under supervision.
• Cleaning: Cleans therapy rooms, equipment, and work areas according to guidelines.
• Inventory/clerical/administrative: Replenishes stock; assists in department errands and tasks.
• OT specific duty: Scores standardized assessment results for developmental evaluations.
