Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a Rehabilitative Services Aide to support therapists in delivering patient care across disciplines (OT/PT/SLP). You assist with treatment under direct supervision and engage in departmental programs.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Clinical-based experience with patient interactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
• Recognize signs of distress.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification or eligibility.
• Basic computer skills in word processing and online communication.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, problem-solving and self-initiation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of therapists.
• Assist adults, geriatric and adolescent patients, and potentially pediatric patients with competency training.
• Participate in departmental programs, inservices, and staff development.
