Job summary

Nemours seeks a Registered Nurse in Philadelphia, PA to provide pediatric and family-centered nursing care across pediatric primary and specialty settings. You will support clinics at Nemours locations in the Delaware Valley, collaborating with providers and the care team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

The role requires clinical judgment, mentoring of new graduates, and strong patient/family communication. BSN completion within 3–4 years and pediatric certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have ADN or willingness to obtain BSN within 3–4 years.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or equivalent depending on practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies clinical practice for patients and families.
• Coaches new graduates and clinical students.
• Cares for patients in the office and via telephone triage using pediatric protocols.
• Safely administers medications as prescribed by the provider.
• Participates in unit-based governance to improve clinical practice.
• Identifies clinical questions and seeks resources to improve patient care.
