Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for pediatric primary care in Milford, DE. The RN will provide safe, developmentally appropriate care, collaborate with clinicians, and support administrative governance of the clinical practice.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and phlebotomy, with travel between Milford and Salisbury locations as needed. BSN within 3 years of hire is preferred; DE nursing license required.

Qualifications

• RN required with current license.
• BSN preferred; willing to obtain BSN within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process to deliver care: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Synthesize patient data and recognize complex situations for care team.
• Document ongoing evaluation of patient care.
• Provide care meeting professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Safely administer medications as prescribed by the provider.
• Triages patient calls using pediatric protocols and clinical guidance.
• Assist with in-office procedures within scope of license.
• Perform phlebotomy for blood samples and lab tests.
• Provide age-appropriate care to primary care patients.
