Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing is required.
• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS, NRP, PACES and PALS are department-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate patient care using clinical judgment.
• Ensure care meets safety standards and patient rights.
• Oversee care by patient care team and coordinate plan of care.
• Educate patients and families with sensitivity to diversity.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to implement care plans.
