Job summary

Children's Health Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU, in a night shift, on-site role. The RN will provide direct patient care, using the nursing process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Required BSN, TX RN license, and 1 year of RN experience, with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS per department standards. The role emphasizes safety, patient rights, and family education within a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing
• 1 year RN experience preferred
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as applicable

Responsibilities

• Independently perform professional nursing care in the NICU.
• Use nursing process and clinical judgment to develop care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to meet patient/family needs.
• Educate patients and families, respecting diversity.
• Coordinate plan of care with the patient care team.
