Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. You will follow the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate, family-centered care and document care accurately.

The role requires at least 12 months of RN experience, active GA or multi-state RN licensure, and BLS certification. Pediatric specialty certifications (PALS/PEARS) are preferred and supported by the department.

Qualifications

• 12 months RN experience required.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in GA or Multi-State via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment or at start of ED shift.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year of employment as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age- and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
• Integrates patient values and language preferences into care and uses decision support tools to guide care.
• Provides education to patients and families tailored to identified learning needs and documents care accurately.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and maintains clinical competence.
