Job summary

Children's Health Plano is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the CCS Float Pool to deliver direct patient care in a developmentally appropriate manner. The role requires collaborating with critical care teams to formulate and execute comprehensive plans of care for children and families.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of RN experience, a BSN, and Texas licensure with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS as department requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience required.
• BSN is required.
• Texas RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes, delegates and coordinates patient care using nursing judgment to develop an appropriate care plan.
• Ensure patient care meets safety, quality, and patient rights standards.
• Oversee care delivered by the patient care team and coordinate plan of care.
• Provide education to patients and families, considering diversity.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to optimize outcomes.
