Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support pediatric and special needs patients during surgical procedures. The RDA will scrub, prepare rooms, and ensure sterility per policies while assisting the dentist and anesthesia provider.

The ideal candidate has an accredited dental assistant program, a current state RDA license, and a BLS certification; one year of RDA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS Certificate
• Background and Drug Screening Required

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider as it relates to instruments, sutures and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and maintaining stock rooms.
• Provide care based on the age-related needs of pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Assist with patient transfer from bed to gurney and with emergency care as directed.
• Front Desk duties and Patient Service Coordinator responsibilities are part of this role.
