Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams in Riverton, Utah, supporting Pediatric Clinic and InstaCare. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and accurate imaging within department protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT certification and state licensure where required, with BLS. The position includes a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible candidates and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State radiologic license where applicable.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• MA Competency Checklist may be required.
• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical tasks.
• Verify patient identity, confirm orders, and prepare the patient for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education and address comfort and concerns.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow codes for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, and QC programs.
