Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams and ensure high-quality results. You will work with radiologists, physicians, and staff in a fast-paced environment, maintaining safety and patient care standards.

The position supports Pediatric Clinic and InstaCare settings, with a schedule of Mon–Fri 9a–5:30p and benefits eligibility. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license where practicing.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Identifies patients properly and prepares them for exams.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines.
• Completes studies efficiently while maintaining patient care and quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other radiology staff.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Maintains infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follows coding, charging, consents, QC and equipment-reporting protocols.
