Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams at Riverton. You will work with radiologists to ensure high-quality images, patient safety, and timely studies in a fast-paced setting.

The role supports pediatric clinic and InstaCare, with Mon–Fri 9a–5:30p type shifts and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible candidates. Prior ARRT certification and BLS are required, with strong patient care skills and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May complete MA Competency Checklist for clinic/Instacare.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares for exam.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains safety.
• Assists students and other radiology staff in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Practices infection control and sterile techniques.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follows coding, charging, QC protocols and reports equipment issues.
