Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with high-quality images and patient care. You will work with radiologists and clinic staff in a fast-paced environment, supporting Pediatric Clinic and InstaCare.

A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered for eligible candidates and benefits are provided. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, and BLS for healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification current or expected in state of practice.
• State radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• May complete MA Competency Checklist to function as MA in clinic or InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT modality competency and perform imaging per protocol.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams.
• Review images for quality, clarity and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety and maintain safe environment.
• Complete studies efficiently while upholding patient care and quality.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and patients.
• Follow coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment failure reporting procedures.
