Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, UT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams and support pediatric clinics and InstaCare. You will work with radiologists and clinicians to ensure high-quality images and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate maintains ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable, with BLS and strong patient communication, and may have 1–2 years radiology experience or IV certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state radiologic technologist license if required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• May need Medical Assistant competency checklist and MA duties.
• Strong patient care and imaging technique knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical duties.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol and review images for quality.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies promptly while ensuring patient care.
• Instruct students and staff on exam protocols.
• Provide patient education and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique.
• Document patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
• Follow coding, consents, QC, and equipment fault reporting.
