Qualifications

• ARRT certification required and active licensure where applicable.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May need MA competency checklist and ability to function as MA in clinic settings.
• Ability to perform exams per protocol with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical/technical tasks.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs imaging exams, reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and safe work environment.
• Completes studies efficiently and educates patients; may assist students and staff.
• Maintains infection control and operates imaging equipment and systems.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and billing-related details.
• Follows coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reports equipment issues.
