Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams, operate imaging systems, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images for pediatric and InstaCare services.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure as needed, and BLS. Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable).
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in clinic/InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Techs in protocols, positioning, and equipment.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
