Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in Riverton, UT. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality images while upholding safety standards.

The role requires ARRT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. You’ll contribute to pediatric clinics and InstaCare, with a 40-hour schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• State Radiologic Technologist license if applicable.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May complete MA Competency Checklist for certain clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Identify patient, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies timely; assist and instruct students/colleagues on protocols.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns and maintain infection control.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting.
