Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado, located in Aurora, seeks a Director of Radiology to oversee imaging services across the system. The role directs a team of managers, technologists and support staff in radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology, with responsibility for budget, capital plans and safety.

You will partner with radiology leadership and hospital teams to optimize workflows, patient safety and timely, high-quality imaging for children.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive radiology administrative experience, with at least three in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, health administration, or a related field; ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Thorough knowledge of local, state and federal regulations for radiology practice.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for Radiology and long-range plans across the system.
• Lead managers and staff, including hiring, development and staffing models.
• Develop and manage the operating budget, forecasting and capital planning.
• Lead capital equipment decisions, service contracts and imaging network planning.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and radiation safety practices.
• Collaborate with radiologists and hospital leadership to improve workflows.
