Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking an outstanding academic pediatric neuroradiologist to serve as Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology. This full‑time role combines strategic leadership with clinical, educational, and research activities in a nationally recognized program.

The Director will oversee the pediatric neuroradiology section, mentor faculty and fellows, and drive innovations in imaging and patient safety while collaborating with neurology, neurosurgery, and developmental

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certification in Radiology and completion of fellowship training or subspecialty certification (or eligibility) in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology.
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligibility for appointment).
• Leadership experience and a track record of clinical excellence, scholarship, and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, educational, and research leadership for the pediatric neuroradiology section.
• Oversee all clinical operations of the pediatric neuroradiology section.
• Mentor faculty and trainees; drive quality improvement and patient safety.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance national visibility; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Advance imaging techniques including functional MRI, diffusion imaging, fetal MRI, quantitative neuroimaging, and AI in neuroimaging.
• Foster scholarly activity and publications; collaborate with the Pediatric Imaging Research Center and basic scientists.
• Expand the pediatric neuroradiology fellowship program.
