Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh seeks an outstanding academic pediatric neuroradiologist to serve as Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology. This full-time role leads both clinical and academic missions within the Department of Radiology.

The Director will provide strategic and educational leadership, oversee clinical operations, mentor faculty and trainees, and advance imaging techniques including functional MRI, diffusion and AI applications in neuroimaging.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certification in Radiology with fellowship in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology (or eligibility).
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligibility).
• Leadership experience and a track record of clinical excellence, scholarship, and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the pediatric neuroradiology service and provide strategic, clinical, educational, and research leadership.
• Oversee clinical operations of the pediatric neuroradiology section and mentor faculty and trainees.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and operational efficiency; create strategic initiatives for national visibility.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and developmental pediatrics; optimize advanced imaging techniques and AI in neuroimaging.
• Maintain scholarly activity, collaborate with PIRC and other divisions, and expand fellowship training.
