Qualifications

• No minimum experience required.
• Associate's degree required? (per qualifications)
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program.
• ARRT credential in Radiography (R) and BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates modality specific technical equipment for patient care imaging and manages images in EMR and PACS, ensuring accurate billing.
• Provides radiologists with patient history and informed consent.
• Assists in administration of contrast media and/or radioisotopes.
• Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.
• Uses age-specific guidelines to care for patients from neonate to adult and educates family members.
• Completes mandatory CBTs and annual competencies.
