Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support safe patient care in a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes quality imaging, accurate EMR updates, and collaboration with radiologists and physicians.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT credential in Radiography, have BLS within 30 days, and be comfortable working with pediatric populations. No minimum experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential in Radiography and ARRT approved program.
• Ability to work in pediatrics and with a multidisciplinary team.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment and handles image processing and records.
• Provides patient history to radiologists and obtains informed consent.
• Assists with contrast media administration as required.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and accreditation efforts.
• Maintains age-specific care guidelines and educates patient/family.
• Completes mandatory CBTs and annual competencies.
