Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures for clinical and research patient care populations. The role involves supporting safe patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate imaging and billing processes.

The position requires ARRT credentials or MR-credential eligibility, and completion of MR training within 12 months of hire. A weekend shift and potential sign-on incentive are included.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervised clinical MRI experience.
• Associates degree and pediatric experience preferred.
• ARRT approved educational program and MR credentialing within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for patient care imaging and data management.
• Provides patient history and informed consent information to radiologists.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and participates in annual competencies.
