Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for pediatric patients. You will collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to ensure safety, accuracy, and high-quality images, while maintaining detailed patient records and participating in quality initiatives.

The role requires ARRT Radiography (R) credential and BLS within 30 days, with preferred experience in pediatrics and a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform diagnostic/therapeutic imaging procedures.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.
• ARRT credential in Radiography (R) and BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment for patient care imaging and image processing.
• Updates EMR with exams scheduling, check-in, verification, and image merging.
• Ensures accurate billing for radiology procedures and provides patient history.
• Assists radiologists and physicians with contrast administration as needed.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Participates in quality improvement and accreditation activities.
