Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is hiring for a Radiology Tech with weekend shifts. The role performs diagnostic imaging, monitors departmental processes, and helps ensure patient safety and quality care. Sign-On Bonus + Weekend Option incentive is included.

Requires five years of technical radiology experience; ARRT-approved program and an Associate’s degree or five years of experience are acceptable. Leadership and pediatric imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of technical radiology experience.
• Associate degree or five years of technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of supervision/leadership preferred.
• One year of pediatric imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency with modality equipment and liaises with radiologists to maintain highest image quality.
• Incorporates age-specific care guidelines across all patient stages.
• Coordinates modality activities to ensure orderly patient flow.
• Manages staff by schedule creation, performance feedback and coaching.
• Supports quality initiatives and Joint Commission readiness.
• Completes time, attendance, documentation reviews, and education tracking.
• Monitors supplies, controls costs, and adjusts staffing to patient volumes.
• Participates in required meetings and imaging quality reporting.
• Supports staff development and provides on-the-job training.
