Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will operate modality-specific equipment, ensure safe patient care, and document procedures in the EMR.

No minimum experience required; ARRT credential and BLS within 30 days are preferred. An associate’s degree and pediatrics experience are valued. The position includes a weekend shift with a sign-on bonus and weekend incentive.

Responsibilities

• Operates modality-specific imaging equipment and processes.
• Updates the electronic medical record through scheduling, check-in, exams, and billing.
• Provides patient history and informed consent to radiologists.
• Assists radiologists with contrast media administration as required.
• Collaborates with clinicians to ensure patient safety and care outcomes.
• Participates in department quality improvement initiatives and AC R accreditation.
• Adheres to age-specific guidelines and educates patient and family as needed.
